Vocollect to Acquire Adherence Technologies

Vocollect entered an agreement to acquire Adherence Technologies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Adherence Technologies is located in Dulles, Va. The company's signature product, AccuNurse®, provides nursing staff members with headsets that enable them to receive patient care instructions, deliver care, document care as it takes place, and communicate with other staff.

Adherence Technologies' management team will join the Vocollect organization based in Pittsburgh, Pa., and the combined company will continue to maintain a presence in Dulles, Va. The new unit will be headed by Roger Byford, co-founder of Vocollect, Inc.
