Vista LifeSciences Partners with Vangard Voice Systems
Vangard Voice Systems announced a partnership with Vista LifeSciences to voice-enable Vista LifeSciences’ medical assessment and clinical encounter/medical record products.
The Vangard/Vista LifeSciences partnership will initially focus on adding voice-directed data collection and application commands to Vista LifeSciences’ STAT*Triage, a robust mobile medical patient encounter tool that includes disease-specific applications, public health surveillance capabilities, and population-specific management applications. By adding hands-free, eyes-free, voice-directed commands to STAT*Triage, and other Vista LifeSciences solutions, mobile healthcare professionals will be are able to collect accurate electronic patient data at the ‘point of patient care’ on their mobile devices.
Vista LifeSciences’ products are actively used by the United States Department of Defense and in clinical care in more than 50 hospitals, clinics, and research organizations in North America. Vista LifeSciences’ neuropsychological assessment technology has been used to collect more than 400,000 neuropsychological assessments by the U.S. Department of Defense.

Vangard’s AccuSpeech Mobile Voice Platform will also be used to supplement Vista LifeSciences’ neuropsychological assessment product suite by offering a voice-enabled interface to collect data from patients and care providers. Vista LifeSciences currently provides clinical systems in the United States and Africa, and provides the Department of Defense with technology for neuropsychological assessment
