VidThat Offers Voice-to-Text on all Video

vidThat is launching a mobile app that lets iPhone owners make short videos, turning images into instant video and immediately synchronizing with the users' voices. They can then share the video through the vidThat instant messenger.

"We made video storytelling easy by auto-transcribing all voice over recordings as text for all videos. Users can choose to include or not include subtitles in the finished video," said James Tran, founder and CEO of vidThat, in a statement.

With vidThat, voice is automatically shown as a text caption on any video. Users can make slight or major changes to the sound of their recorded voices.

A proprietary video file system lets others immediately video-reply to video messages sent to them through vidThat. A save to draft system automates video creation where the same visual content is a requirement for multiple voice recordings.
