VeriTran Partners with Sensory for Biometrics
Speech technology vendor Sensory has partnered with VeriTran, a technology solutions provider for the financial and retail industry, to provide a more secure and convenient way to authenticate users of mobile banking and mobile payments solutions.
Through the partnership, VeriTran will use Sensory's TrulySecure voice and face biometrics software for customer authentication.
"User security is at the top of our customers' priority lists, and through our relationship with Sensory we have been able to add unprecedented user security, as well as add new levels of end-user convenience, to the solutions we offer," said Marcelo González, CEO of VeriTran, in a statement. "Biometric authentication has become a hot topic among our customers. In fact, some of our customers have already released or are working on releasing a mobile banking app featuring TrulySecure face and voice biometric authentication."

VeriTran's has dozens of customers, including Banorte, one of the largest commercial banks in Mexico, which has recently updated its mobile banking app to include face biometric authentication.
