Verbit Acquires Take Note
Verbit, a provider of artificial intelligence-powered transcription and captioning solutions, has acquired Take Note, a United Kingdom-.based provider of transcription, captioning and note taking services for the market research sector. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it does further Verbit's global expansion efforts and marks Verbit's entrance into the market research arena.
"The addition of Take Note advances Verbit as the essential partner to deliver on every captioning, transcription, and note-taking need," said Tom Livne, CEO and founder of Verbit, in a statement. "I'm excited to continue consolidating the fragmented transcription market through our global expansion efforts while investing more in the U.K. and European regions, as well as the market research industry's specialized needs."

This announcement follows Verbit's recent acquisitions of VITAC and AutomaticSync.
