VeCommerce Awarded Contract in Australia

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - VeCommerce Limited (ASX: VCM), a provider of natural language speech recognition (NLSR) and voice enabled e-commerce solutions, announced that it has been awarded a contract by one of Australia's diversified financial services groups. Utilizing communications and speech recognition technology, VeCommerce will provide a voice enabled solution allowing callers to get access to the broad range of products and services the company offers. The initial installation is expected to result in more than $1million of revenue for VeCommerce in FY2003. The system can be expanded as user acceptance of the technology drives further applications and a subsequent larger capacity.
