Uniphore Plans for Global Expansion
Indian speech recognition technology provider Uniphore Software this week revealed plans for a rapid expansion in the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
The company is planning to expand across the U.S., where it already has a limited presence, in the next few months, and hopes to follow with offices in Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Japan. The company currently has offices in India, the Philippines, and the United Arab Emirates. Its technologies work with 70 languages.
Founded in 2008, Uniphore initially focused on developing speech recognition technology that enabled farmers with limited literacy to access data over the phone by voice. Its products have evolved to include call center analytics, voice-based virtual assistants, and voice biometrics.
