TuVox Names New VP of Engineering
LOS ALTOS, Calif. - TuVox named Jeff Langston to the position of vice president of engineering. Previously serving as vice president of platform architecture and development for Intuit's QuickBooks group, Langston brings over 20 years experience managing commercial software development from concept to release. In his new role at TuVox, Langston will be responsible for development of TuVox's speech applications and lifecycle management software.
Most recently at Intuit, Langston was responsible for leading the design and development of the technology platform for the QuickBooks' small business accounting and small business management products and services. Other positions during his eight year tenure with Intuit included serving as vice president of product development for the consumer finance group, responsible for all aspects of product development for Quicken, Quicken.com, and Quicken Quotes Live. Langston's experience also included serving as director of software development at two Silicon Valley start-ups and director of product development at Claris, where he worked with TuVox's co-founders on products including FileMaker, MacWrite and MacProject. Langston earned bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from Stanford University.
