TomTom Adds Four More Languages to Voice Maps
TomTom has added four new languages to its Voice Maps product: Bulgarian, Colombian Spanish, Hebrew, and Northern African Arabic.
TomTom Voice Maps enable customers to develop a range of navigation and location-based services featuring turn-by-turn driving directions for PNDs, mobile applications, and in-dash systems. The system combines text-to-speech and speech recognition technology.
"The addition of Bulgarian, Colombian Spanish, Hebrew, and North African Arabic to our TomTom Voice Maps coverage means our customers can now create superior navigation solutions enabling more drivers to benefit from easy-to-understand voice navigation in their native language," said Charles Cautley, managing director of TomTom Maps, in a statement.
