Texte et Relief's Ugo Reads Out Loud with Elan Sayso; Idylic Has Chosen Elan Sayso

FRANCE - Texte et Relief, a provider of reading aid solutions for the visually impaired, has added Elan's high quality text-to-speech, Elan Sayso, to Ugo, its latest reading solution. Ugo scans any printed document, processes the contents and translates it into speech using Elan Sayso TTS. In less than 40 seconds, reading begins. The user can access all functions of Ugo using only 4 buttons (Play, stop, FF/Rwd, tuning : speed, tone, etc.). Idylic Has Chosen Elan Sayso Idylic, a publisher of specialized software for vocal access to information, has chosen Elan Sayso, the TTS technology from Elan Speech, for its VoiceXML platform Phonic Enterprise. With Phonic Enterprise, voice applications for enterprises such as email reading for internal use or complex applications for Client Relationship Management can be developed and deployed. Idylic deploys its products for enterprise, operators or call centers to many clients, including MAAF insurance, EDF (French electricity board), Hewlett Packard, Ministry of the enivronment (France), Orange and Completel.
