Telisma is Integrating SVOX Speech Synthesis

PARIS, FRANCE - SVOX, a provider of speech synthesis software and Telisma, one of Europe's players in the field of voice recognition technologies, have announced the signature of a global co-marketing agreement. Telisma's TTS connector, integrated into its real-time distributed platform, now supports the SVOX TTS, thus allowing companies and integrators to acquire ASR-TTS solutions from a single source. "The fact that Telisma's TTS connector is compatible with SAPI 4 makes it extremely easy to integrate TTS which are compatible with this standard. In the case of SVOX's TTS, technical integration of our two solutions takes less than an hour! This is a good illustration of the relevance of this new de facto standard and how easy it is to implement our plug & play systems," explained Mohand Ferhaoui, senior TTS consultant at Telisma. The Telisma-SVOX ASR-TTS solution can also be used to develop multilingual services, a feature which should be much appreciated in certain markets, such as quadrilingual Switzerland, for services with high growth potential, such as tourism and banking.
