Syntellect Re-Launches Vista and Interchange as Continuum
In 2004, Syntellect released Vista 5.0, a next-generation, open-standards speech and IVR-enabled self-service platform and integrated it with contact center solution Interchange.
Syntellect recently announced this combined offering as Continuum, providing speech-enabled and IVR touchtone points on the self-service side, routed voice, email, and Web inquiries with CTI/ScreenPop on the live-service side, and deployment options that include premise-based, hosted-in-network, or both. Additionally, Syntellect offered the ability to pass captured self-service data via CTI/ScreenPop as part of the core offering should a self-service inquiry escalate to live assistance.
Syntellect's current customers using Vista and Interchange can take advantage of the benefits Continuum provides by adding the desired functionalities in a modular fashion.
Continuum offers a product suite on an open platform, supporting standards like VoiceXML and VoIP, and is positioned for emerging standards like CCXML and MRCP. Continuum also offers:
- Speech recognition and text-to-speech technology
- OAandM/development tools
- Consolidation, load balancing, multi-site linking
- Unified reporting
- Redundancy/disaster recovery
