SpeechWorks Taps Steve Chambers to Lead Worldwide Sales and Marketing

BOSTON, MA - SpeechWorks International Inc. (Nasdaq: SPWX), a developer of speech recognition and text-to-speech (TTS) technologies and services, announced that SpeechWorks' chief marketing officer, Steve Chambers, will assume the position of senior vice president of worldwide sales and chief marketing officer, effective immediately. Marty Falaro, who has held the position of senior vice president, sales, will be leaving SpeechWorks for personal reasons. Falaro will remain with SpeechWorks through the end of the current quarter to assist in a smooth transition and to support special projects.
