Speech Design Delivers SMS-to-Voice to Wireless Operator

RAMSEY, NJ - Bogen Communications International Inc. (NASDAQ:BOGN) ("Bogen") announced that the French wireless operator, Orange France, has implemented an SMS-to-Voice Solution delivered by HP Consulting & Integration France jointly with Bogen's Speech Design subsidiary. SMS-to-Voice (Short Message Services) enables SMS messages, previously only viewable on a mobile phone's screen, to be received by traditional fixed-line telephones. A SMS sent to a fixed-line subscriber is detected within the GSM network and routed to the SMS-to-Voice Thor platform, which calls the destination phone number and reads the message by using TTS (Text-to-Speech) technology.
