SoundHound Voice AI Now Available on Oracle Cloud Marketplace
SoundHound AI, a provider of voice artificial intelligence and a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), has integrated its SoundHound for Restaurants voice AI technology with Oracle MICROS Simphony Point-of-Sale (POS) for Restaurants and made it available through Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
Through the integration of SoundHound for Restaurants' smart ordering voice AI with Oracle MICROS Simphony POS, restaurants can accept voice orders from customers over the phone, via menu kiosk, or at the drive-thru and transmit them directly to the platform. SoundHound's sophisticated voice technology learns restaurants' menus and can answer questions, accept modifications, and even upsell.
Even during peak hours, Smart Ordering is able to deal with many customers simultaneously. The voice technology can also answer questions about restaurant location, business hours, and other FAQs.
SoundHound's advanced conversational AI allows restaurant customers to speak naturally when placing orders.
"Restaurants are looking to voice technology to help drive sales, support employees, and create a great customer experience. SoundHound's advanced voice AI allows them to do just that with minimal onboarding and at a reasonable cost," said James Hom, chief product officer and co-founder of SoundHound, in a statement. "We're delighted that Smart Ordering is now available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, where our technology can be accessed by thousands of restaurants looking for smart ways to do more with less."
