Sensory Brings Moto Voice to Motorola

Sensory, a provider of speech and vision technologies for consumer products, has incorporated its TrulyHandsfree voice technology into Motorola's Moto Voice mobile device line.

Motorola first deployed Sensory technology in its Touchless Control feature, which was used in the original Moto X, Droid Ultra, Droid Mini, and Droid Maxx phones. Motorola announced the name change to Moto Voice to clarify the technology was not a standard part of Android. The new Moto X is upgraded with Sensory's TrulyHandsfree 3.0 and the ability to create user-defined triggers.

TrulyHandsfree enables users to activate and access their phones with ultra-low power voice triggers. The technology can also enable command sets that do not require close-talking mics, quiet rooms, or even saying things exactly right.

"The TrulyHandsfree solution provided the last piece of the puzzle to enabling Motorola's Moto Voice function, which has served it well in cutting-edge phones such as the Moto X," said Bill Meisel, president of TMA Associates, in a statement.
