Sanyo Electric Railway Adopts ReadSpeaker TTS

Sanyo Electric Railway, a Japanese train operator, has turned to ReadSpeaker to provide the text-to-speech technology that will voice its onboard train anoouncement system.

Previously, train conductors' announcements were made only in Japanese, but now conductors can use audio files created by ReadSpeaker's text-to-speech software via their tablets to optimize in-train broadcasting in Japanese and English. ReadSpeaker TTS supports more than 30 languages.
