SVOX Introduces New TTS Software for Embedded Solutions

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND -- SVOX AG, a Swiss provider of synthetic speech technology, is introducing a new development in the sphere of text-to-speech software. SVOX SMART was conceived as an embedded application in mobile communication devices such as PDAs, Smart Phones as well as for automotive solutions. SVOX SMART is available in multiple languages, and is designed to be compatible with the Windows CE operating system. Designed as an embedded solution, the new software offers quality in voice, sound and speech fluency. SVOX SMART can read and comprehend text information that is provided in SMS messages or e-mails. As a result, users have the same communications options with access to information in any place and at any time, but to an even greater degree. SVOX SMART has a low memory storage requirements of these products (footprint) of less than 1 MB due to integration with the text-to-speech software, which also allows for personalized operational control of parameters such as speech speed, pronunciation and exception ruling.
