ReadSpeaker Now Supports Persian Farsi

ReadSpeaker now offers support for the Persian Farsi language in its ReadSpeaker Enterprise product.

Persian Farsi is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. An official language in each of these countries, there are 110 million Persian Farsi speakers worldwide. Other populations of speakers can be found in countries along the Persian Gulf (Bahrain, Iraq, Oman, Yemen, and the United Arab Emirates), as well as large communities in the United States.

Persian Farsi has contributed greatly to neighboring Iranian languages, such as Urdu, a language ReadSpeaker also supports in its ReadSpeaker Enterprise product.

"We are the only ones to offer Persian for speech-enabling online content, and this is of great importance to us, especially due to the current refugee needs," said Niclas Bergström, ReadSpeaker's founder and CEO, in a statement.
