Philips Releases Hungarian Speech Recognition Software for Lawyers

VIENNA, Austria - Royal Philips Electronics released a Hungarian legal ConText for its document creation platform SpeechMagic. The ConText is a recognition vocabulary designed for the legal profession which transforms spoken words into written text.

The development of the ConText was carried out in co-operation with Medisoft Speech Trade and Service LLC- a Hungarian provider of legal and medical information technology and an integration partner of Philips Speech Recognition Systems. SpeechMagic and the Hungarian Legal ConText can be integrated with any case management and word processing system available on the Hungarian market.

By increasing its portfolio of ConTexts for SpeechMagic, Philips also supports multinational law firms by enabling them to use the same system across various regions.

The Legal ConText will be available through Medisoft Speech LCC from September 2005.
