Philips Expands Integration of SpeechMagic
VIENNA, Austria - Royal Philips Electronics (AEX: PHI, NYSE: PHG) is integrating its speech recognition-based document creation platform SpeechMagic with CareRevolution from Electronic Healthcare Systems (EHS). Currently more than 4,000 physicians use CareRevolution. By upgrading to Philips document creation technology the physicians will be able to choose their preferred dictation and transcription workflow.
CareRevolution, powered by SpeechMagic, will support digital dictation and backend and frontend speech recognition. The allows physicians to individually choose their preferred dictation workflow and switch between the various transcription methods at any time. SpeechMagic will also allow physicians to navigate and control the EMR through voice commands.
CareRevolution was developed by EHS to boost efficiency in medical practices and to stimulate a more profitable workflow in a single point-of-care solution.
