PS Technology, Syntellect Partner on Workforce Management System for Transportation Industry

PS Technology has selected Syntellect's Vista as the voice application platform on which to deploy its software-based scheduling system. PS Technology, a subsidiary of Union Pacific , provides crew and timekeeping solutions for the transportation industry, including advanced scalable architecture platforms in the transit or rail transportation marketplace. PS Technology's solutions help customers centralize and automate the performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of crew management, dynamic scheduling, timekeeping, and workforce interaction. Currently, the Vista-based scheduling system is being implemented at Norfolk Southern Railway Company, a freight railroad that operates 21,500 route miles in 22 eastern states, the District of Columbia , and the Province of Ontario .
