Nuance and Intelleca Active in South Africa

BURLINGTON, Mass. and GHENT, Belgium - Discovery Health, MultiChoice, MTN Banking and Airports Company SA in South Africa selected Nuance Communications, Inc. and Intelleca Voice and Mobile, a South African provider of voice solutions to provide their speech recognition solutions. As the sole partner of Nuance for the development of speech recognition language models in the region, Intelleca has collaborated with Nuance on the development of South African languages. For example, the South African English language model is adapted for the regional English dialect.
