Nuance Solution Powers Mutare Messaging Software

Nuance announced that Mutare, a provider of unified communications, mobility and self-service automation solutions, has integrated Nuance's Dragon Voicemail to Text to its EVM Plus giSTT service.

EVM Plus giSTT transcribes enterprise voicemails and delivers the text-to-messaging tools employees use such as email, text messaging, and instant messages. Users can save, forward, or delete messages, and use their everyday desktop tools, such as flagging messages for follow up, to search and manage their voice messages.

"When someone has an urgent need, they pick up the phone, yet 80 percent of all business calls go to voicemail," said Ben Crown, president of Mutare, in a statement. "With EVM Plus giSTT, people are able to respond more quickly, allowing them to close business faster or resolve customer issues more rapidly, positively effecting both productivity and bottom line profitability of an organization."
