Nuance Dragon Dictation and Search Apps Now Available in Brazil
Nuance Communications' Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search apps for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad have made their debut in Brazil, supporting the Brazilian Portuguese language.
Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search have experienced rapid global adoption and expansion, with downloads in the tens of millions as they enable people all over the world to speak text for SMS messages, email, social media updates, mobile Web searches. and more – up to five times faster than typing.
Brazil is the 25th country where Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search have been made available by Nuance in the last year. The Dragon Apps continue to secure the #1 and #2 spots in the App store in nearly every country launched. And because the Apps feature multilingual capabilities, people worldwide can easily switch between supported languages as they become available.
Dragon Dictation is iOS-4 compatible and features a pop-up toolbar with app icons that enable users to access email, SMS, Facebook or Twitter status bars, or the clipboard. Dragon Dictation also includes an Auto Save function that retains dictated text when the user is interrupted by an incoming phone call.
Dragon Search for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, also now available on the App Store, allows users to speak any search query to find information and answers on the mobile Web. Dragon Search is the only app to feature Nuance’s Dragon Search Carousel, which delivers search results within seconds across multiple channels at once. Dragon Search includes results from Google, Yahoo!, Twitter, iTunes, Wikipedia, and YouTube.

Both Dragon Dictation and Dragon Search are available for free from the Brazilian Apple App Store.
