Nortel Receives Frost & Sullivan 2005 Market Leadership Award for IVR Solutions in India

MUMBAI, India - Nortel was presented the 2005 Market Leadership Award by Frost and Sullivan for demonstrating leadership in India's IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems market in 2004.

According to Frost and Sullivan, the award was based on the emergence of Nortel as the single largest player in India's IVR systems market with a 41.6 percent market share at the end of 2004. The award was presented by Frost and Sullivan at an industry function held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Mumbai on October 10, 2005.

"Nortel's leadership of India's IVR systems market reflects the company's diligence and innovation in implementing a successful business plan and excelling in India's increasingly competitive business processing outsourcing (BPO) and contact center marketplace," said Manoj Menon, partner and South-east Asia managing director of Frost and Sullivan.
