NextiraOne Enhances ServiceSelect Offering

NextiraOne introduced its ServiceSelect network support service, which allows customers to choose the kinds of managed data, converged and voice services they need. With ServiceSelect, customers are not required to buy the services included in many service bundles.

ServiceSelect offers choice and flexibility in communications support and management. Whether the network environment is data, converged or traditional voice, ServiceSelect combines break/fix support with a suite of network management services. At the time customers select a service package, they also can obtain certain extra services on a menu of options. Customers use the extra options to compile a services package that suits the individual needs of their businesses.

The enhanced ServiceSelect features managed software updates as part of NextiraOne's Netvision monitoring. The service now extends to call managers and applications specific to Nortel* offerings, including Symposium, CallPilot and Optivity Telephony Manager (OTM), and Cisco Systems offerings, including CallManager, Unity and IPCC.

ServiceSelect also has a reporting program that enables the customer to see the level of service being provided. The program displays information regarding how NextiraOne responds to alarms and reported tickets and how the company measures up against service level agreements.
