NewVoiceMedia Names telisma as Strategic Partner and Adds New Member to Management Team
LAVERSTOKE, UK - NewVoiceMedia has selected telisma as its strategic partner for voice recognition.
NewVoiceMedia will begin integrating telisma's speech recognition technology into its core offerings and the first versions of telisma-enabled applications are expected to be ready by July 2005. These will be based on NewVoiceMedia's XML soft switch for telecommunications operators and service providers. This platform allows telcos and service providers to offer a range of network-based telecoms applications to their enterprise customer base. NewVoiceMedia offers its own call center and call treatment application set which sits on top of the platform.
By using XML, CCXML and VoiceXML APIs, NewVoiceMedia's telco partners, or systems integrators can create custom applications which link into enterprise customers' IT systems at many points.
