NVIDIA’s Venture Capital Arm Announced an Investment in Deepgram

According to a post on its company blog, NVIDIA announced “that speech analytics startup Deepgram is the newest member of the GPU Ventures portfolio.” Deepgram is described as an end-to-end deep learning speech recognition system. It also happens to use NVIDIA GPUs for inferencing and training.

Deepgram Brain, an automatic transcription tool, searches for keywords in transcripts using both sound and text. It also helps businesses analyze customer calls. The company already serves over 5,000 clients, from financial institutions to journalists, according to Nvidia’s post.

NVIDIA did not disclose exactly how much money it has invested in Deepgram.
