Microsoft Releases .NET MAUI Toolkit V. 11 with Offline Speech Recognition

Microsoft has released version 11 of the .NET MAUI (Multiplatform App User Interface) Community Toolkit, which offers new offline speech recognition alongside support for .NET 9.

This version of .NET MAUI, Microsoft's open-source framework for building native device applications on mobile, tablet, and desktop, adds offline speech-to-text conversion, allowing for speech recognition with or without an internet connection.

NET MAUI, a community-generated library of extensions, user controls, converters, and behaviors, allows developers to create a single project that works on multiple targets with shared UI and code.
