Microsoft Announces New Partnerships

REDMOND, WA - Microsoft Corp., revealed that its Speech Server will be made available in two editions: Microsoft Speech Server 2004 Standard Edition for small to medium-sized deployments, and Microsoft Speech Server 2004 Enterprise Edition for large-scale system deployment in large enterprises.

Among the partners in the program are Datria, which aims to broaden the appeal of its field service applications to include more small and medium-sized businesses.

Viecore and Microsoft Speech Technologies will work together to deliver speech solutions for large-scale enterprises and midsize companies within the financial services, utilities, healthcare, insurance and retail markets.

Edify will work with Microsoft to deliver speech solutions for the marketplace based on Microsoft Speech Server, the speech platform for Speech Application Language Tags-based telephony and multi-modal applications.

Tell-Eureka is developing its LevelOne Virtual CSR voice self-service platform to run on Microsoft Speech Server. LevelOne Virtual CSR is a voice solution that automates first-level customer support using conversational speech recognition.
