MD-IT Expands to Mid-Atlantic Region with Acquisition

BOULDER, Colo. -- MD-IT, a provider of medical transcription services and software to physicians and ambulatory clinics, completed its acquisition of MediTranscripts, Inc., a Maryland-based transcription company. Under terms of the agreement, the former owner has joined MD-IT and will manage transcription services in the Washington D.C metro area.

MD-IT works with medical practices to integrate new technology into the transcription process, so that when an individual physician is ready to try a new tool, such as automated speech recognition, that function can be switched on as part of MD-IT's existing service.
