M*Modal and Merge Healthcare Collaborate

M*Modal has expanded its relationship with imaging provider Merge Healthcare to an extensive reseller partnership in which M*Modal's Fluency and M*Modal Catalyst technology platforms will be available to Merge's imaging customers, delivering cloud-based speech recognition, real-time business intelligence, structured multimedia reporting, and workflow management for diagnostic interpretations. 

As part of the agreement, Merge will bundle M*Modal Fluency for Imaging and M*Modal Catalyst for Radiology with its Merge PACS portfolio of imaging and radiology products to give clients greater flexibility in deploying picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).

"Merge and M*Modal both focus on delivering cloud-based intelligence and giving clients access to images and documentation anywhere, anytime."
