LumenVox to Release ASR Version 14.0

LumenVox will release Version 14.0 of its speech recognition software on September 25.

New features in version 14.0 will include support for Brazilian Portuguese in both the ASR and Speech Tuner. LumenVox introduced Brazilian text-to-speech in 2012.

"Brazil is the fifth largest country in both size and population, and, as a result, we are seeing enormous growth and requests for support of Brazilian Portuguese. LumenVox listens to our partner requests and felt it was vital for us to offer this support to enhance our partner's ability to address the market,” said Ed Miller, CEO of LumenVox, in a statement.

A new reporting feature can provide warnings detected during grammar loading. These are issues that previously were insufficient to trigger a grammar loading error and, therefore, would likely have gone unnoticed before.

LumenVox has modified the Phonetic Speller in the Speech Tuner to correctly process multiword phrases.
