LumenVox Selected for Avaya DeveloperConnection Program

Avaya selected LumenVox last week to join its DeveloperConnection program, promoting the development, compliance-testing, and co-marketing of third-party solutions that are compatible with its own solutions.

LumenVox's core speech recognition software, the Speech Engine, is designed to work with the Avaya Voice Portal, a software platform that supports a service-oriented architecture. As a result, the Avaya development community is able to deploy speech technology solutions using LumenVox technology. As a member of the DeveloperConnection program, LumenVox also has access to support, including technical resources and training, from Avaya.

"LumenVox's membership in Avaya's developer community will provide our joint customers with integrated speech technology for the Avaya Voice Portal," said Edward Miller, president of LumenVox. The Avaya DeveloperConnection program currently includes thousands of software and hardware developer companies, integrators, service providers and customers. Members have created hundreds of solutions, including natural language speech recognition applications, wireless services, specialized computer telephony integration and reporting capabilities, and applications tailored for specific vertical industries, all found to be compatible with Avaya’s own systems and technologies.
