LumenVox Announces Version 3.0 at SpeechTek 2002
SAN DIEGO, CA - LumenVox will be announcing Version 3.0 of their Speech Driven Information System (SDIS) and Speech Recognition Engine (SRE) at SpeechTek 2002, in New York City from October 29th through October 31st. LumenVox will be demonstrating Version 3.0 in Booth 711, during the two-day exposition, being held in the New York Marriott Marquis. The newest addition to the Speech Driven Information System, at no extra cost, is Text-to-Speech (TTS). TTS enables any text to be read by a computer-generated voice. Text could range from simple messages, to emails, to large stores of information. Version 3.0 of the SDIS has improved the installation, help files, tutorials, and functionality for all users. Downloads can now be achieved by both a website installation and by downloading the package to a local machine. Actions Lists, Concepts, and Phrases can now be dragged and dropped within the SDIS designer. There has also been expanded right-click functionality, throughout the program. The new LumenVox Speech Recognition Engine, which is the foundation of the SDIS, has improved acoustic models for males, females and digits, which improves the recognition accuracy of the engine. The functionality of Custom Action dlls has also been expanded to allow for the above TTS access. Logging options have been expanded to allow for recognitions to be stored for enhanced tuning. Server support now also includes, SQL Server 2000, MSDE 2000, and Windows NT Authentication with SQL Server.
