Loquendo Appoints New CEO and Managing Director

Loquendo appointed a new CEO, Marcello Giuseppe Caruti Antonelli. He also assumes the role of managing director.  

Before his appointment to Loquendo, Caruti Antonelli was responsible for sales to central and local government bodies for Telecom Italia. Caruti Antonelli has been working in this field since the 1970s, when he helped to set up telephone and data networks in Italy.

In 1990 Caruti Antonelli was appointed Telecom Italia's head of sales in Milan, during which time he collaborated with the banking and insurance sector and with Milan's universities, for which he developed telesurgery systems for operation by remote control.

Alongside his commitments to Telecom Italia, Caruti Antonelli has continued to teach at the Reiss Romoli Business School.

Caruti Antonelli is also on the board of directors for Telsy, providers of information and communication security, and for Path.net, providers of data networks for public bodies.
