Leap's Cricket Service Introduces Samsung Handset

Samsung Telecommunications America and Leap Wireless International released the Siren (SCH-a870), Samsung's debut handset to Cricket customers. The Siren presents a host of popular features in a flip-style form factor.

In addition to the design, the Siren comes packed with a number of multimedia capabilities including a built-in VGA camera with flash and zoom, voice recognition, and multimedia messaging, as well as VibeTonz technology, which allows users to download and feel the beat of ring tones.

The Siren's Bluetooth wireless technology and speakerphone allow for hands-free communication. Additionally, the handset is Mobile Web ready for instant access to email, social networking sites, Hollywood gossips, sports scores, ringtones and graphics, and more from your phone. The Siren also comes compatible with Cricket Downloads for games and interactive application downloads for Cricket phones.
