LOBBY7's x|mode 2.0 Released
BOSTON, MA -- LOBBY7 is releasing x|mode Network Server 2.0 for immediate availability. x|mode 2.0 features increased functionality, an expanded architecture for current and next-generation networks, a more powerful authoring framework and support for Pocket PC 2002. x|mode has been deployed in evaluation and prototype programs with international carriers, including Orange, a provider of wireless services worldwide. According to LOBBY7, with x|mode, service providers, including wireless operators and portals, can create fresh applications that will generate new revenue and entice new subscribers. LOBBY7 says x|mode's architecture is fully IP-based and supports current and next-generation network infrastructures. Architected to support languages like VoiceXML and XHTML, and SALT, x|mode offers a migration path from existing voice-only and data-only applications into complete multimodality. A set of developer tools included with the x|mode suite accelerates time to market of new multimodal applications.
