Intervoice Partners With Stream
DALLAS - Intervoice, Inc. (Nasdaq:INTV) partnered with Stream, a global provider of technical support and customer service, to provide enterprises with a voice self-service solution. To enhance its multi-channel technical support and customer service offering, Stream leverages the Intervoice Solutions Framework, which features an IP standards-based platform, Media Exchange, as part of its Stream Voice application.
Stream currently manages more than 45 million contacts a year through various channels: voice, e-mail, and chat support. The added Intervoice solution provides customers with a self-service option that allows them to complete voice self-service transactions or be transferred to support professionals using Stream's contact center solutions.
Stream Voice offers switch technology and an infrastructure designed to be scalable, flexible and cost-effective. With Stream Voice, calls can be routed directly through a Stream switch or they can originate at a company's switch and then be transferred back to Stream. The voice user interface (VUI) is customizable. Additionally, Stream Voice offers an integrated multi-channel queue for integration with Internet communication solutions.
This managed services offering was installed and implemented by Intervoice for Stream in Intervoice's fiscal year ending Feb. 28, 2006.
