Intel Adds Nuance Voice Recognition to SDK
Intel has announced that the Intel Perceptual Computing SDK 2013 Beta 2 now supports Nuance Speech recognition.
Developers will now be able to add voice commands, short sentence dictation, and text-to-speech synthesis to their applications. Available as a free download, the SDK includes APIs that will reduce development time, lower testing costs, and enable developers to add next-generation interactivity to their applications. The SDK APIs can be used with the Creative Interactive Gesture Camera Developer Kit, a small and lightweight USB-powered depth sensor camera tuned for close-range interactivity.
