Integy Software Partners with VoxPilot, VoiceGenie

Integy Software, creator of the User Interface Management System (UIMS) and Voxpilot, the pan-European Voice XML VSP, announced a development partnership agreement.

As part of the partnership, Integy's UIMS architecture product Voice Integrator will be used to enable Voxpilot and its customers to simplify, accelerate and lower the cost of integrating Web based information and services, so that these may be delivered through the voice channel. The non-invasive approach of Integy's UIMS will allow delivery of dynamic Voice Internet Applications without changing a single line of code on the source web sites. Using this approach, Voxpilot will be able to provide Voice Internet Applications that deliver the same personalized capabilities as their online Web counterparts.

The result of the non-invasive integration capability is cutting the cost, delivery time and maintenance requirements of interfacing with Web content by up to 75 percent. By providing voice channel access to existing web interfaces, customers, employees and sports fans previously needing a PC to access the Web can interact with customer care, services and entertainment in a voice experience via any telephone.
