ID R&D Awarded U.S. Patent for Text-Dependent Speech Recognition

ID R&D, a provider of voice and face biometrics, has received a U.S. patent for its "Systems for Text-Dependent Speaker Recognition and methods thereof."

The patented methods and technologies for text-dependent speaker recognition improve the speed and accuracy of speaker recognition, even when the amount of data gathered for training the speaker model is small. The invention drastically reduces CPU consumption, lowering hardware costs in commercial applications.
