Hollywood Tools Releases Closed Captioning App

Hollywood Tools has released a new cloud-based software service, uSubtitle.TV, enabling users to transcribe and create closed caption files.

Engineered with speech recognition technology, uSubtitle.TV generates text and timing from English or Spanish language video and audio files. An edit function allows the user to perfect the returned transcription and timing.

uSubtitle.TV users can generate closed caption files. With uSubtitle.TV closed caption option, the content creator can make material accessible to the hearing-impaired. This option helps content creators conform with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Accessible Online Video Requirements for online education.

uSubtitle.TV is priced as low as 13 cents per minute. A free cloud-based software application is also available through Hollywood Tools' uTranscribe.TV. This product manually transcribes and allows for closed captioning.
