HelloGbye Prepares Voice-Based Travel App
A startup called HelloGbye has put out for beta testing a voice-based smartphone travel app that will enable users to create even the most complicated travel itineraries.
The application, which is scheduled for launch early next year, will combine voice recognition and mapping technologies. With it, users will be able to type out or dictate complicated travel itineraries involving multiple travelers, cities, hotels, and more.
Natural-language processing helps the site make sense of the requests and then finds flights and hotels for each passenger based on their HelloGbye profiles, which can be set up in just a few minutes.
