Great Eastern Launches Voice Automated Attendant 'Lee Lee' Using IVR Solutions from Nortel Networks
SINGAPORE - Great Eastern, an insurance company in Singapore and Malaysia, has launched a customer service platform - 'Lee Lee' - using IVR technology from Nortel Networks.
'Lee Lee' is powered by Nortel Networks' Periphonics Voice Processing Series Information Server (VPS/is) and the OSCAR speech recognition server with the OpenSpeech(TM) Recognizer speech recognition engine from ScanSoft, Inc. Singapore Computer Systems (SCS), an authorized Nortel Networks 'Channel Partner,' is the systems integrator of 'Lee Lee'. SCS customized the Nortel Networks technology for 'Lee Lee' which integrates English and Chinese speech functionality with the ScanSoft(R) engine and Great Eastern's policy database system.
A voice automated attendant, "Lee Lee" offers Great Eastern's customers policy information through automated assistance 24-hours, seven days a week. Its speech recognition capability provides policy information search capability to users and is designed to eliminate the traditional menu options.
'Lee Lee' is the voice of Diana Chua, an assistant manager with the customer service department of Great Eastern.
