Glenayre Technologies Adds ScanSoft RealSpeak to Versera Voice Services

PEABODY, MA and ATLANTA, GA - ScanSoft Inc. (Nasdaq: SSFT), a supplier of imaging, speech and language solutions and Glenayre Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: GEMS), a provider of advanced and next-generation communications solutions, announced that Glenayre now offers ScanSoft RealSpeak as one of the synthesized speech solutions in its Versera Voice Services Suite. Glenayre's Versera Voice Services Suite consists of voice-controlled telephony services that enable service providers to introduce new revenue opportunities, increase subscriber satisfaction and reduce churn. ScanSoft RealSpeak integrates with the Versera Voice Services Suite to deliver text-based information to wireless and mobile devices using synthesized human-sounding speech. The ability for service providers to provide highly customizable real-time message notification and delivery plays a critical role in enhancing user productivity.
