Genesys Achieves 152 Customer Wins in Q3

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc., a subsidiary of Alcatel (NYSE: ALA, Paris: CGEP.PA), announced it achieved 152 customer wins in the third quarter of 2003. Examples of new business in the quarter include: GE Appliance (USA), Air Canada, PEMEX Gas (Mexico), Mobiltel (Bulgaria) Vodaphone (Egypt), Linz AG (Austria) and ANZ Bank (Australia). Genesys Suite 6, an integrated suite of contact center solutions that address customer interaction routing, multimedia contact, customer service strategies and workforce management, can be deployed in total as a framework and application set addressing the spectrum of contact center requirements. The Suite components can also be deployed individually or in conjunction to meet specific business challenges related to reactive and pro-active customer care. The flexibility of Genesys Suite 6 enables enterprises to identify opportunities for immediate-term improvements, while also providing a growth path for future evolution in the contact center.
