GM Voices Provides Voice Prompt Vocabularies for Microsoft Speech Server 2004
ATLANTA - GM Voices Inc. announced it is providing an extensive set of reusable professionally recorded voice prompts for Microsoft Speech Server to be used in the development of speech recognition applications.
As a Microsoft Speech Program partner, GM Voices produced the pre-recorded voice segments using male and female voice talent to create the standard and expanded vocabularies. These vocabularies or libraries consist of thousands of numbers, dates, currencies, navigation and error messages that prompt users through speech recognition activated application. Developers choose a voice to speak for their application. Customized voice prompts can be recorded in the same voices to provide developers with a more professional sounding interface for the applications.
