Fluency Voice Technology Appoints New Vice President of Product Development

LONDON and NEW YORK - Doctor Jacob Abboud has joined Fluency Voice Technology's executive management team as the newly appointed vice president of product development. Abboud will head the development and management of the Fluency's technology and report directly to Fluency's CEO, Philip Padfield.

Prior to joining Fluency, Abboud served as chief technology manager for Lloyds TSB Bank, where he was responsible for all aspects of technology management from development through delivery. Formerly, Abboud served as senior IT manager for Capital One where he led the European division of core systems and enterprise engineering. Earlier in his career, Abboud was CTO at High Alpha, an eCommerce enterprise software company, and held executive level and senior management IT positions at Cedel Global Services, JP Morgan and Raychem Corporation. Abboud holds both a doctorate and a bachelor's degree in software engineering from the University of Bath.
